Rigging route planner
Lay out the rigging path for a lift: anchor points, sling geometry, exclusion zones and load path — checked against the rules I was drilling on.
These tools were built with desktop in mind and may not work well on mobile.
Overview
Interactive planner for rigging a lift from scratch. Set the load, pick the slings and shackles, place the anchor points, then draw the load path. The planner calculates sling angles and capacities and flags anything that fails against G11 / NS 9610.
Designed to work as the preparation step before the crane simulator — you plan the lift here, then execute it there. If the plan is wrong, the sim shows you why.
What it taught me
The planner made me argue every choice out loud before the lift. By the time you press go the justification is already in your head — which is where it needs to be when a supervisor asks.
